If you're like me and have a minimum of five hot sauces in your home at all times, I've got some news that'll really make your tastebuds tingle. Beauty brand HipDot has collaborated with one of your favorite hot sauce brands to bring you a Tapatío makeup collection. That's correct: hot sauce-themed makeup is right at your fingertips.
The collection, which makes its debut on October 8, features four items: two six-shade eye shadow palettes, a makeup sponge, and a set of lip glosses that look tasty enough to eat (literally). Below is a breakdown of everything in the HipDot x Tapatío collection, plus the collector's box that comes with a full-size bottle of the hot sauce itself. As Tapatío would say, it's a collection that's very saucy.
Inspired by the legendary mythic empire of the same name, the El Dorado palette features six eye shadows in matte, shimmer, and glitter finishes. If the warm tones in the palette weren't already making you hungry, wait until you hear the shade names: Spicy Mami, Fuego, Drip, Con Limón, Bonita, and Salsa Picante.
With a name like La Diabla, you'd expect this palette to be chock full of flaming-hot shades, and that's exactly what it is. With names like Hot Spot, Sizzle, and Tap That, this palette is spicy in more ways than one.
This non-latex makeup sponge does come with one downside — your mouth will water every time you use it, thanks to that red-hot color that's the same as Tapatío's.
I obviously can't gloss over this set of teensy-tiny hot sauce bottles. I'd buy these for the packaging alone, but inside them lie pepper-inspired lip glosses in clear, red, berry, and nude hues.
You can buy the full collection at once with this full set, which comes in a special box you won't find anywhere else — plus, your very own bottle of Tapatío.
The HipDot x Tapatío collection is available starting October 8 from hipdot.com.
