“Happy birthday, sweetheart! ❤️” the Watch What Happens Live host captioned the photo on Instagram. In it, he’s holding a giant gold “1” balloon in one hand and Lucy in the other. She’s dressed in a pink floral dress with a cute little bun in her hair, fastened with a pom-pom elastic. She’s all smiles as she holds onto her dad, looking proud of herself.

Andy Cohen Is Dad to Ben & Lucy

In an interview with TODAY after Ben was born, Cohen opened up about why he went with a surrogate instead of adoption. “I was fortunate to have the means to be able to. It can be expensive and complicated,” he said. “And I just said, ‘I’m going to do this, I’m going to try to do this,’ and I did.”
He learned a lot from the experience. “It’s incredible to me as I’ve now learned that surrogacy is illegal in many states, and I don’t understand why it’s illegal in New York and New Jersey, which is why I went to California,” he said. “That’s where my wonderful surrogate was, who I owe so much to.”

“HERE’S LUCY!!!!! Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen!” he wrote on Instagram. “She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!!”
He added, “Her big brother can’t wait to meet her! Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way) and everyone who helped make this miracle happen. I’m so happy.”
Andy Cohen Is a Proud Dad

When Lucy turned 3 months old, he shared a wide-eyed picture of her in lemon pajamas, sitting next to a Lucy doll from ‘Peanuts’ (likely hinting about her sweet name).
More recently, he shared a photo of his daughter in her high chair. She looks gorgeous in a tiara and cute bib that says, “These fools put my cape on backwards.”
She just keeps getting cuter all the time!
Anderson Cooper’s Son Gave Lucy a Present

Cohen shared a video of Lucy playing with a rattle on his Instagram Story Sunday. “Little Wyatt Cooper gave her this maraca which she really loves,” Cohen said in the video, per PEOPLE.
She was wearing her hair in two pigtails in the video, which Cohen explained: “I did the hair this morning and you know what, she really submitted to it. I really feel like you saw what I was doing, and you let me try.”
