Brooke Shields Poses With Her Model Daughter Grier in Chic White Outfits

Spending one-on-one time with your teen isn’t an easy feat, which is why we were impressed by Brooke Shields’ recent outing with her daughter Grier Henchy.  She took her 17-year-old to a prestigious horse show over the weekend, and they looked glamorous in fashionable white outfits.

The duo attended the 2023 Hampton Classic Horse Show Longines Grand Prix in Bridgehampton, New York on Sept. 3, where they posed for pictures together. The Pretty Baby star wore wide-legged white pants with a sleeveless white-and-green bandana top. Grier wore a coordinating floor-length white dress with a pink flower print, paired with strappy white heels.

Both women wore their long hair down, with Shields smiling and Grier adopting a more serious look. They both looked beautiful!

The A Castle for Christmas star’s husband Chris Henchy also attended the event. He wore light gray pants and jacket over a white t-shirt with white tennis shoes. In the photos, Grier stands a few inches taller than her mom (almost as tall as her dad!), as the three pose in sunglasses.

Henchy and Shields also share daughter Rowan, 20, who was not at the equestrian event.

Grier is a model, just like her mom. I an interview with Live With Kelly and Ryan in June 2023, Shields shared the advice she gave her daughter before starting her career.

“It’s such a different industry now than it was… I finally had to give in and say, ‘If you’re going to do this, I’m not going to be your manager. You’re going to be with an agency. You’re going to have a great work ethic. It’s not going to be comfortable, and you’re going to listen to me,’” she said.

In an interview with PEOPLE last year, Shields shared that both of her daughters like raiding her closet.

“They wear my clothes a lot. So whenever they wear anything of mine, it’s validation to me,” she explained. “So what [Rowan] gravitates towards [are] the very functional bags of mine and belts and things like that. [Grier] gravitates towards zero function, all fashion.”
